IM TIRED!

Ok, so I thought I take some time to explain to you, some situations I have been going through. Im at Skidmore college this is my first year and everything is so different. these classes are cool but it hard getting used to the new environment. I feel like this weather is killing me! I live in Atlanta where its hot till november....WHY IS IT 40 DEGREES IN OCTOBER! this is ridiculous  now this week it like 70.....what is going on around here! I have come to the conclusion that I hate Saratoga Springs, its too much for me. Im trying to transfer to USC in sunny california to study film and screen writing and at Skidmore, The only major I could possibly study is business, which is nice but it's not really what I want to do. now I'm being overwhelmed with work and now trying to schedule my classes for  next semester. This is too much for my soul. but thankfully this weekend I'l be going to D.C. for Howard University's Homecoming hopefully It will relieve all of this stress. Il be back next week with post about my experiences in D.C.

YA DIGG?

At only 15 years old this guy has already done most things most adults will never accomplish in their lives. Diggy Simmons  has grown up in the spotlight and has lived nothing short of a normal life. He was really first introduced to the world in the show, Run's House, which was a family show on MTV and, hip hop legend, Rev Run who was part of the historic rap group Run DMC. The show first aired when Diggy was only about 10 years old and lasted for a few years.
We have always known that Rev Run's oldest son, JoJo,was an aspiring rapper, but what shocked the world is when Diggy began rapping and releasing songs and mixtapes. at first I was a little skeptical about listening to this little kid trying to rap. I figured he was only doing it because of who his father was, but when I actually listened to him rap I was really surprised! this kid was actually rapping, not just talking while rhyming a few words with each other. most rappers at his age don't have the maturity to formulate great songs, but Diggy's wordplay and flow have set him apart from others. he raps luke he has been doing for as many years as some of the big names today. Even though he's young older people respect him for his attitude and honesty. I like him because he's not always rapping about how much money he has or how many girls he got, but because talks about his feelings and what goes on in his life, which isn't seen in many young artists.
Right after his 15 birthday, Diggy signed with Atlantic Records and has begun his new life as a signed artists. He has already released two mixtapes, been on T.V. shows such as 106 and Park, and has had many interviews. Diggy Simmons could possibly be the new future face of Hip Hop. OH SNAP!!!!

The old saying of history repeating its self has come true in the last year with the return of the snapback hat. They have grown more and more popular in the year 2010 and are in high demand for people nowadays. People aren't just looking for any snapback hat, people are searching for vintage, original hats from back in the 80's when they were first mad popular. more and more online sites are adding snapback hats to their lists of merchandise. It is very hard to get a snapback from a store in your city or town so most of the rare hats have to be ordered online. The prices usually range from $30 to over $100 depending on popularity of the team represented on the hat.
Snapbacks became very popular in the late 70's and 80's and some of the 90's. Different rappers showcased their hats in different videos interviews etc.. and the rest of the population caught the craze. this was also part of the starter jackets era. People could represent their favorite teams by wearing a starter jacket with the matching starter hat. they were made famous by celebrities such as Will Smith and the rap group N.W.A.

Snapbacks have certainly made their return and I don't think they are going away anytime soon. I suggest people invest in some, fitted hats are slowly but surely dying and snapbacks are taking over. New artists of our era have brought them back into style. More and More younger celebrities are starting to be part of the trend.
